Breaking news first surfaced through Alicia Stella on X, revealing a recent trademark application by Universal for the title "Cinesational: A Symphonic Spectacular," filed on March 20, 2024. Dive deeper into Stella's comprehensive Tweet, including insights on the trademark application below:

Stella's tweet references an earlier post from 2023 regarding another trademark submission for Universal Orlando Resort, dubbed "Universal Mega Movie Parade," encompassing theme park usage alongside a title graphic.

This trademark, submitted as a service mark, outlines the following:

"Amusement park, theme park, and waterpark services; Entertainment services in the nature of amusement park, theme park, and waterpark attractions; Presentation of live show performances; Providing amusement arcade service; Providing interactive play areas for children and adults; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by costumed characters; Education and entertainment services, namely, conducting guided tours of motion picture and television production facilities including exhibitions and demonstrations; Entertainment services in the nature of escape rooms and attractions; Entertainment services, namely, live entertainment and street performances, particularly, live music concerts and performances, live performances by a DJ, live dance performances, live performances by balloon artists, live performances by stilt walkers; Entertainment in the nature of live shows, live laser shows, and live music shows."

Although Universal has yet to provide official details about the upcoming nighttime lagoon show slated for Univeral Studios Florida, recent developments in the lagoon area have sparked anticipation. Speculations suggest that this new show, rumored to integrate drones, projections, and pyrotechnics, could debut soon.

The park's previous nighttime lagoon extravaganza, "Universal Orlando's Cinematic Celebration," premiered in 2018 and bid farewell in 2023 due to projector damages caused by a hurricane in 2022.
